Nub Theory vs Ramzi Method

Both methods are used for early gender prediction, but they are based on different principles.

Nub Theory

• When? 12-14 weeks
• How? The angle of the genital tubercle is measured
• Accuracy: 85-90% (in experienced hands)

Ramzi Method

• When? 6-9 weeks (very early!)
• How? Placenta position is evaluated
• Accuracy: Controversial, weak scientific evidence

Which is More Reliable?

Nub theory is supported by more scientific research. While the Ramzi method is popular on internet forums, it has not been accepted by the medical community.
